Refrigeration Without Electricity

Following up on last weeks posts on refrigeration, Adam Grosser presents a TED talk on reusable, sustainable refrigeration that does not use electricity, propane, kerosene or consumables. This “refrigerator” is shaped liked a thermos and uses absorption refrigeration and the heat produced from a cooking fire (or other heat source) to produced up to 24 hours of cooling.

After watching this TED talk you may just be motivated to go back and watch the principals of refrigeration post from last week!

How could you use this technology to help your community or another part of the world?
