Arkansas Energy Corps Recognized for Service by State House

Melissa Terry and members of our Energy Corps AmeriCorps program in Arkansas were honored recently for their efforts with disaster relief in Joplin, MO, last year. On February 16, Arkansas State Senator Randy Laverty presented a citation recognizing our Energy Corps members and other Arkansas AmeriCorps members for their work in helping Joplin recover from a devastating tornado that leveled parts of the city last May. Members from around the state attended the ceremony, which was held in the State Capitol Senate Chamber in Little Rock. More recognition for the fine service these members have given in the past year. Congratulations!
