Program Staff
Kaleena Miller is a New York native who grew up with a passion for sports and spending as much time outdoors as possible. She has a bachelor of science degree in environmental economics from the University of Rhode Island and a master's degree in environmental policy from Bard College in New York. Kaleena gained valuable work experience through an internship in Zagreb, Croatia with a small non-government organization who's mission is effective promotion, education and communication of sustainable development and energy efficiency issues. She joined the Energy Corps Program as a member in 2011 because she saw it as an opportunity to apply her knowledge of energy issues while at the same time gaining valuable information and skills in the energy field. Kaleena switched over to Energy Corps staff in the fall of 2012. |
A graduate of Montana State University as well as a native Montanan, Jordan has a strong desire to protect natural resources and promote sustainable living practices. He is a registered engineer-in-training and is pursuing his professional engineer license. Jordan has a diverse background and has recently been working at NCAT as an energy analyst helping local business become more energy efficient through lighting and HVAC upgrades. Outside of work Jordan enjoys a wide variety of activities, including the sport of alpine ski flying. |
Hannah comes to NCAT from the North Center Regional Center for Rural Development where she was responsible for coordinating professional development programs to build capacity in ag organizations to engage Latino communities in sustainable local food systems. She also worked to enroll beginning farmers in training and incubation programs and developed local food systems in two Iowa communities. She has a master's of science degree in Sustainable Ag and Sociology |
Daniel graduated from the University of Arkansas School of Architecture in 1998 and was licensed as an architect in 2004. He then became a LEED Accredited Professional in 2006. Daniel served as an Energy Corps member for the Walton Arts Center in 2010 and was certified as a Resnet Home Energy Rater and as a League of American Bicyclists instructor. |
Katie, a native Montanan, has a passion for working with rural communities in the Northern Rockies and beyond. Prior to joining Energy Corps, she spent time working for Headwaters RC&D as the Economic Development Planner and has community organizing experience with Oregon Rural Action. She served two years as an AmeriCorps member in eastern Oregon, conducting research and organizing around food system development in rural communities. Katie has an B.S. in Education from Western Montana College and an M.S. in Geography from the University of Idaho. |
